Michael Mizrachi Wins His First WSOP Bracelet

We’re just over a week into the WSOP 2010 and this weekend brings another popular $1,000 No Limit Holdem event as well as a growing list of bracelet winners and success stories. Some highlights are:

Michael Mizrachi Wins His First WSOP Bracelet
It’s been a big week for Michael Mizrachi. Mizrachi won his first WSOP bracelet for his victory in the $50,000 Player’s Championship, where he took home $1.56M. On the road to victory, he beat out his older brother as well as WSOP bracelet winners John Juanda (4 WSOP bracelets) and Daniel Alaci (2 WSOP bracelets), poker legend Doyle Brunson and many other players of note.

As of Friday, just three days after winning his first bracelet, he is the front-runner in the WSOP Seven Card Stud World Championship. This could be a second bracelet for American player Mizrachi, who is taking the WSOP 2010 by storm. His recent win was his biggest since the 2005 LA Poker Classic where he won $1.86M.

JJ Liu Is The First Female Final Table Player At The WSOP 2010
JJ Liu is the first woman to make final table play in this year’s WSOP. She put up a good fight and eventually finished in third place.
